WHAT DOES THE BOOK OF MORMON TEACH ABOUT JESUS...

JESUS IN AMERICA

"And it came to pass that when Jesus had thus spoken, he cast his eyes round about again on the multitude, and beheld they were in tears, and did look steadfastly upon him, as if they would ask him to tarry a little longer with them.".

3 Nephi 8:5

Here is a tract for you to study. This tract exists because there are many who believe that the Book of Mormon is a book about Joseph Smith, Jr, or a story invented by him. It is not so. The book has one central theme: JESUS and His people.

Not even once is the name: “Joseph Smith,” in the text of the book.

The theme most visible is Jesus Christ. The tract lists some words used in the Book of Mormon and how many verses for each one. Look for yourself to see if the Book of Mormon has a greater emphasis than to teach of Jesus.

Remember these scriptures of counsel in the Bible:

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1Thes5:20-21

"In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. 2Cor 13:1

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him." James 1:5

There are thousands of persons that have accepted these counsels, and have asked of God, not man, whether this book is of God, or not. We invite you to do the same.
